Teacher’s Day Celebration – 4th Septemeber 2021

A teacher is the eternal guru and guide whose firm and loving grooming has shaped generations from times immemorial. He/She can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning and to honour the hard work and determination towards the profession, Aspire International School, Khasarmari, Nagpur celebrated Teacher’s Day virtually on 4th September 2021 with great gusto and gaiety. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, former President of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teacher’s day.

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was of the opinion that “Teachers should be the best minds in the country”. The program began with the student-anchors taking a peek into Dr. Radhakrishnan’s life and why Teacher’s Day is celebrated throughout India. After this, the students surprised their teachers by performing a scintillating act like dance, drama, song, speeches, to demonstrate their love, respect, acknowledgement and gratitude for the latter. This was followed by the school Principal’s speech throwing light on the different aspects regarding the significance of teacher’s day. Everybody left with a joyous feeling at the end of the day. It was a wonderful experience that taught us how a program can be successfully compiled and completed in the turbulent pandemic situation.

The program was anchored by Master Vedant Joshi and Miss Joanah Jobin, students of Aspire International School, Nagpur. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Miss Joanah Jobin a student of grade XII.
