MR. CHETAN MEHROTRA
Chetan Mehrotra is a Commerce graduate from Mumbai University. As the Executive Trustee of Sar-La Education Trust he has been actively involved for the last 20 years in setting up and managing educational and vocational institutions.
He is a Member of the Managing Committee of Lalji Mehrotra Lions School in Ahmedabad; Saroj Lalji Mehrotra Science Faculty in Allahabad and Lalji Mehrotra Technical Institute in Mumbai.
As a philanthropist, he is passionate about improving the quality of education and healthcare through the projects of two Family Trusts – Sar-La Education Trust and Radha Mohan Mehrotra Medical Relief Trust. Through these Trusts the lives of many bright, but under-privileged, students have undergone a remarkable change.
Chetan is a successful entrepreneur and has extensively travelled overseas during the last 30 years. His experience and management expertise is valuable as a Member of the Governing Council of Aspire International School.
MRS. NIRMALA TANDON
Mrs. Nirmala Tandon was born in a family of academicians. She did her Masters in History from Allahabad University and pursued B.Ed. as she wanted to be a part of the teaching profession. She is also an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School where she did a program on Strategic Perspectives in Non Profit Management.
She has 33 years of experience in the education sector including 18 years as a senior faculty, school teacher, coordinator for training workshops and social initiatives. As the Head of the Department and the Coordinator for the senior school, she empowered the children with a strong urge of lifelong learning, to not run after success but to chase excellence and to create a community of well rounded individuals.
Subsequently for 15 years she was the Honorary CEO of IIMPACT, an NGO providing free primary education to poor out of school girls from socially and backward remote rural areas of India.
She has travelled extensively in these areas counseling the parents and the community. The organization has impacted the lives of over one lakh girls. Her passion, perseverance and patience saw success and dream come true.
She is the recipient of Teacher Warrior Awards for making a difference, Saarthak Nari Award for women achievers and her inspiring story was published in a book called Small Big Bang which is a tribute to the undying spirit of 30 die hard entrepreneurs of India who left a comfortable life to explore the unknown terrain.
MRS. NUTAN J, PRINCIPAL
